Sometimes you want to log a food, but you don’t have the package in front of you—or the item isn’t already in the database. It would be incredibly helpful to create/import a food by uploading a Nutrition Facts label image directly from your phone, not only by scanning with the camera.
What this would enable
Upload from your camera roll to import nutrition data when you can’t scan the label in real time.
Use screenshots from grocery store websites (like HEB/Kroger) to quickly add foods without switching back and forth between your browser and MacrosFirst.
Avoid awkward workarounds like taking a photo of a screenshot from another device.
Faster, easier food creation for items that aren’t already programmed—especially when you’re planning ahead or tracking from online info.
Why it matters
Saves time and reduces manual entry.
Makes tracking easier when you’re not at home, don’t have the packaging, or are building your food list from online shopping/meal planning.
