It would be incredibly helpful to log blood glucose right in the app so people with diabetes can see how meals, foods, and carb intake affect their numbers. Bringing glucose tracking alongside the app’s detailed nutrition data would make it easier to understand personal responses to food and manage day-to-day decisions with more confidence.
What this could help with:
Log blood glucose readings in one place instead of keeping food and glucose data in separate apps.
Add readings before and after meals to clearly see how eating affects blood sugar.
Track the time of each reading for better context throughout the day.
Record the glucose value itself and note whether it was high or low.
Mark whether a reading was taken before or after eating for quick comparison.
See glucose data alongside foods and meals to better understand responses to specific foods, not just totals.
Monitor reactions to carb intake and daily carb goals with real-world blood sugar data, which is especially helpful for users trying to make sense of higher carb targets.
Enter readings manually or sync with blood glucose monitors, including setups people already use such as Dexcom and OmniPod.
For many users, this is a missing piece that would make the app much more useful for diabetes management — especially for anyone who wants all their food, carb, and glucose insights together in one easy place.
