Right now it can be confusing to know exactly what earns a ⭐ on the daily log—especially since it may depend on hitting some targets but not necessarily all of them. Let us customize what counts as “success” by setting our own goal ranges.
What this would enable
Set your own +/- tolerance for calories (e.g., within 100 calories of goal = star), instead of relying only on the current auto 5% over/under.
Choose a different default tolerance like 10% instead of 5% for earning a star.
Define flexible calorie ranges that match your preferences (e.g., a daily success range like 1500–1700 or 1500–1800).
Set tolerances per macro—protein, carbs, and fats—so you can decide what “close enough” means for each one.
Make the star rules clear and predictable, removing the ambiguity around the current “criteria.”
Why it matters
More motivation and clarity: When you know exactly what earns a star, it becomes a stronger, more rewarding tracking goal.
Better fit for different styles: Some people want tighter precision; others want more flexibility—custom ranges support both.
Personalized success: Align the daily “win” with your priorities (calories vs. specific macros) rather than a one-size-fits-all threshold.
