When you preplan or prelog your day (or even a whole week), it’s easy to lose track of what you’ve actually eaten—especially if snacks stay “open” all day or you don’t eat a full meal in one sitting. A simple check/tick box next to foods (and optionally meals) would make it effortless to mark items as eaten right from the daily log.
What this would help you do:
Preplan your day or week and check things off as you go so you always know what’s left to eat.
Mark individual foods—not just the whole meal (helpful when you don’t eat everything at once, or you eat parts of a meal at different times).
Avoid the “did I already have that snack?” problem, especially on days with lots of items to hit your goals.
Keep long snack lists manageable when snacks are expanded throughout the day.
Stay consistent with daily vitamins/minerals/supplements by checking them off after you take them.
Make repetitive everyday items easier to remember (like the same supplements or go-to foods you have daily).
Reduce workarounds like collapsing meals to indicate they’re done, or dragging items from “planned” to “actual.”
Replace the need for a separate meal-planning app, saving time, storage, and hassle by keeping planning and follow-through in one place.
A quick check-off option would turn prelogging into a clear, confidence-boosting “done/not done” view—without changing how anyone prefers to plan their day.
